Stratton Mountain Bike Tour for Beginners [+$42]
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.
Adding this requires an additional ticket, which can be purchased here

Don't forget to come back and schedule your session after you've made your purchase!
Our tour will begin at the South Londonderry Depot. The Depot was constructed in the 1870's and was the endpoint of the West River Railroad. After a brief pedal on a dirt road, we will begin on the West River Trail. Once we are on the trail we'll have two options; one option is to take the high road, the former site of the railroad, the trail is smoother and the gradient is the same for most of the ride to the Winhall Campground. The other option is to take the slightly more technical lower trail, which hugs the banks of the West River. The lower trail will offer a more challenging ride to the campground with roots, rocks, and potential mud puddles.

We will make our way through the campground via paved roads and then continue on the West River Trail. The trail will have some ups and downs but will remain wide and relatively smooth. After roughly one mile, we will have the option to ride out to an overlook and turn back or continue toward Angel Falls. Continuing past the overlook the trail becomes more technical and more strenuous. There is a steep climb followed by a technical descent and then a series of ups and downs to "Angel Falls".

*All tours will be an "out and back", groups will meet the shuttle at the Winhall Campground. If time allows we will have the option for a quick swim in the West River before returning to Stratton.

*Helmets and bikes will be provided. Gloves and eye protection are not required, but are recommended.

Limited Capacity seats available

Relieve your body from the patterns and strain of sitting in front of a computer or being glued to your phone. This class will focus on the two different types of "tech-neck" and how that shows up in the body. Through a series of neck, shoulder and mid back opening exercises, we will create space and gain greater balance and mobility in the shoulder complex. Focusing on both the deeper muscles and the stabilizers we will explore the subtleties and integrity of the shoulders and core in a movement based practice. This class aims to educate and explore how to best balance out what has become our cultural norm of "slumpasana" by integrating strength, stability and mobility and freeing the inner support of the heart and lungs.

Organizing Chaos, a Posture Lab
Limited Capacity seats available

We are forged in the crucible of trauma. Our bodies: simply a response to the demands put upon them; the pushes, pulls, stresses, loads, and abrasions of all sorts. We are organized along the lines drawn into tension by every step we take. Every movement, every stance, every shape and transition ripples through us and leaves its imprint. We are a beautiful and complicated outcome of all we persevere. While this permeates each of our layers, from the most subtle, outward - we will look at the body. In this asana lab, we will bring this - growth as a response to trauma - eye to the sticky places. As a group we will examine where we feel restricted, bound up, unable to reach, and explore new strategies to move more freely and practice as our whole selves. Bring on your least favorite shapes, your arch nemesis of Asana and together we'll take a methodical and layered approach to unpacking what's held within.

Vinyasa for Life
Limited Capacity filling up

Flow style yoga can make you feel amazing, but you can also develop some pretty gnarly injuries. This class focuses on 3 vinyasa 'hot spots,' or places that new (and longtime) students often experience pain: The shoulders, lower back and the knees. First, we will workshop key alignment points for some classic postures which compromise these parts of the body. Then we will put these principles into practice with a simple sequence.

Schuyler firmly believes that Vinyasa style yoga shouldn't just be for the young and strong; it's for anyone who is dedicated to moving through asana intelligently for a lifetime. She's loved teaching this class at festivals so much over the years that it became the basis for her 2018 Wanderlust 21-Day Challenge. Check it out on Wanderlust TV! It might just change your life.

(This class is designed for strong beginners, all students who want to revisit the foundation of their practice, and teachers seeking tools for teaching all level classes.)

Yoga Outside the Lines
Limited Capacity seats available

Create a masterpiece using your masterpiece - your body. In this vinyasa yoga class with a paper canvas as your mat, you'll flow with charcoal, finessing a piece of individualized artwork. Following your breath, you'll use the motions of your body and your imagination to create a 6'x7' piece of artwork you can take home (if you'd like).

Revisit that stage in your development when you just simply colored or drew without any critique of your art - a time prior to life's labels. Come find that early version of you and listen to that child. That child understands magic moments. That child is still you.

We suggest wearing black and wearing your hair up, as we will use charcoal to create our yoga art. And plan to get dirty.

Let's get messy drawing outside the lines and abandon those layers of labels for 90 minutes.

Limited Capacity seats available
Adding this requires an additional ticket, which can be purchased here

Don't forget to come back and schedule your session after you've made your purchase!
Our tour will begin at the South Londonderry Depot. The Depot was constructed in the 1870's and was the endpoint of the West River Railroad. After a brief pedal on a dirt road, we will begin on the West River Trail. Once we are on the trail take the slightly more technical lower trail, which hugs the banks of the West River.

Journaling can help us to navigate life's challenges, by finding strength and resolve in honing and sharpening the authentic voice. Radiant Heart Breathwork

Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to detox the emotional body. The experience moves stuck emotional energy and facilitates release of strong emotions like anger, fear and sadness. It leaves you feeling softer, open and less burdened.

Breathwork can change emotional default settings, lifetime patterns of depression, anxiety and addiction, connect you to your intuition, help you access your creativity and open your heart to increased gratitude and self-love. It is a self-healing practice that can help you to stay grounded, stay in your heart and stay present. Group Breathwork is part catharsis, part socially sanctioned adult temper tantrum, part community building and part psychedelic experience.

The first part of the class will be seated in a circle, opening the work and setting an intention for the group. You will lie down for about 35 minutes of robust, active Breathwork followed by about 10 minutes of rest. I will use essential oils to get your energy centers moving, burn sacred plants to transform your emotional release, and coach you through the experience with love-all set to a great soundtrack. Meditative Gentle Flow [BONUS]
Limited Capacity seats available

In partnership with Ford Warriors in Pink, this Meditative Gentle Flow class is designed for breast cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers. This practice is ideal for anyone going through, or having gone through treatment. It introduces a sequence of gentle movements and yoga poses that are ideal for improving range of motion and restoring emotional balance. Participants will release tension, find more depth in postures, increase stamina and energy, while balancing the mind and body. Each of the restorative, non-muscular poses will be held for longer periods of time in order to gently stretch and lengthen connective tissue.

The focus of Meditative Gentle Flow is to deeply re-connect with oneself with gentle somatic movements in a way that truly supports and cares for the whole body.

This class is offered in partnership with Ford Warriors in Pink - $10 will be donated for each participant in the class to the Young Survival Coalition (YSC), one of Warriors in Pink's four breast cancer charities, which aims to aid young women under 40 who are affected by the disease.

5-10 minutes of this class will feature inspiring words from a Model of Courage - Ford Warriors in Pink Models of Courage (MOCs) are survivors, thrivers and co-survivors who understand what it's like to be touched by breast cancer. True to their name, these women and men courageously faced the disease, and now use that same strength and determination to help raise awareness and funds for the cause.

Safe Experimentation… With Money
Limited Capacity seats available

The subject of money and finance tends to produce strong emotions in people. These feelings span the spectrum – from jealousy, anger, and despair; to hope and euphoria. Relating to money in a mindful context can calm the unhelpful habitual reactions that often take over when we deal, or don't deal, with our financial situations.

When we engage with financial matters without judgment toward ourselves, we can minimize our suffering. When we're observant of our emotions, rather than driven by them, we can create space and equilibrium. These mindful approaches turn emotions into learning experiences which provide important information for making good financial decisions.

In this session, Sol Halpern, founder of Highlander: A Mindful Finance Company and meditation instructor, will introduce you to Mindful Finance tools that use personal insight and humor to bring positive changes to your relationship with money. We will explore ways to use your relationship with money to achieve greater self-awareness and lead a more empowered life.
