Flow style yoga can make you feel amazing, but you can also develop some pretty gnarly injuries. This class focuses on 3 vinyasa 'hot spots,' or places that new (and longtime) students often experience pain: The shoulders, lower back and the knees. First, we will workshop key alignment points for some classic postures which compromise these parts of the body. Then we will put these principles into practice with a simple sequence.

Schuyler firmly believes that Vinyasa style yoga shouldn't just be for the young and strong; it's for anyone who is dedicated to moving through asana intelligently for a lifetime. She's loved teaching this class at festivals so much over the years that it became the basis for her 2018 Wanderlust 21-Day Challenge. Check it out on Wanderlust TV! It might just change your life.

(This class is designed for strong beginners, all students who want to revisit the foundation of their practice, and teachers seeking tools for teaching all level classes.)
Class time devoted to lecture: 11-20 minutes
