By prioritizing self-care, we begin to realize there is an abundance of energy from which to draw upon, that brings our best Self forward. In order to be of service to others and avoid burnout and resentment, we must also extend that same kindness to ourselves. Discover why putting on your own oxygen mask first is a selfless, revolutionary act, and the ways in which others will benefit from your own practice of loving-kindness. This workshop provides a safe space for a deep dive into the emotions and triggers that might normally be hidden from view, as we uncover the ways in which we are unkind to ourselves. This session will include discussion, writing exercises and finish with a Metta meditation.
Class time devoted to lecture: 11-20 minutes
